Event CYBER SECURITY MALAYSIA AWARDS, CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION (CSM-ACE) 2018
Theme Partnership in Securing 4IR Towards National Sovereignty

Cyber Security Malaysia - Awards, Conference & Exhibition (CSM-ACE) is a public-private-partnership driven event and a knowledge sharing platform that recognises contribution of individuals and organisations in the field of cyber security. The objectives of CSM-ACE are:

  • to act as a catalyst in driving innovation and growth for the cyber security industry
  • to inculcate cyber security culture at national level.
  • to gather industry experts and community on the latest cyber security trends.
  • to showcase trade and investment opportunities by assisting and allowing industry players to promote their products and services.
  • to nurture a culture of cyber security awareness amongst users, by educating and offering support to strengthen Malaysian self-reliance in terms of? technology and human resources

Theme

Characterized by new technologies fusing the physical, digital and biological worlds, the Fourth Industrial Revolution will impact all disciplines, economies and industries and brings with it a new operational risk for connected, smart manufacturers and digital supply networks. The pace of digital transformation mean that cyberattacks can have far more extensive effects than ever before, and manufacturers and their supply networks may not be prepared for the risks and need to invest heavily in cyber- and data-security systems to avoid failures in digital infrastructure. For cyber risk to be adequately addressed in the age of industry 4.0, cybersecurity strategies should be secure, vigilant, and resilient, as well as fully integrated into organizational and information technology strategy from the start.

Satellite Events

CyberSecurity Malaysia will stage a collection of satellite events build around the Cyber Security Malaysia Awards, Conference & Exhibition (CSM-ACE) 2018 on 24-28 September this year. These satellite events are designed for different target audiences with the objective to drive transformation through creativity and innovation in information security. Some of these satellite events are opened for public participation, while others are by invitation only.

Palo Alto Networks Training (by invitation only)

Date 24 & 26 September 2018
Time 9:00am - 5:00pm
Venue Tun Sri Lanang 2, Ground Floor, Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur

Cybersecurity is not keeping up as attacks continue to disrupt business. Spending on security feels endless, without clear risk reduction. Security that wasn’t designed for automation requires analysts to manually stitch together insights from many disconnected sources before they act. Legacy security tools and techniques designed for the traditional data center don’t work for the public cloud.

Clearly, we need a different approach.

The Security Operating Platform lets you:

  • Prevent successful cyberattacks
  • Consume innovations quickly
  • Focus on what matters

Join us at our Palo Alto Networks training workshops series to learn how the Security Operating Platform delivers consistent protection across clouds, networks and mobile devices. Not only will you learn about the benefits of the Security Operating Platform, but you’ll have a chance to get hands on with one of our Ultimate Test Drives (UTDs). We are offering three different UTDs, so pick the session that suits your business needs.
