Majlis Dialog Pengurusan Keselamatan Sasaran Penting Peringkat Zon Tengah

The "Majlis Dialog Pengurusan Keselamatan Sasaran Penting Peringkat Zon Tengah (Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and Selangor)" is planned to be held on 9th February 2010 (Tuesday) at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) Kuala Lumpur.

The "Majlis Dialog Pengurusan Keselamatan Sasaran Penting Peringkat Zon Tengah" is a closed event organised by Chief Government Security Office (CGSO), Prime Minister's Department with the cooperation of CyberSecurity Malaysia (an agency the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation).

The objectives of the "Majlis Dialog Pengurusan Keselamatan Sasaran Penting" are to expose the owners and operators of the nations Key Points, local authorities and relevant government agencies on:

• The Policy and Strategy of Key Points Management based on "Arahan Tetap Sasaran Penting";
• The importance of protecting Security Control System at all Key Points installation;
• Briefing on Arahan Keselaamtan Jawatankuasa Pusat Sasaran Penting Bil. 1 Tahun 2008; and
• Cyberthreats and its potential impact to the key point's installations.

Speakers from CGSO, PDRM and CyberSecurity Malaysia will be presenting a range of topics during the Majlis Dialog Pengurusan Keselamatan Sasaran Penting. Topics to be presented includes "Introduction to the National Cyber Security Policy" as well as awareness on the importance of setting up an Information Security Management System in the critical national information infrastructures.

As the National Cyber Security Reference and Specialist Centre, CyberSecurity Malaysia supports the Chief Government Security Office (CGSO) in the protection of the Critical National Infrastructures, focusing on the cyber security aspect of the Critical National Information Infrastructures in line with the National Cyber Security Policy.
