Lt. Col. Husin Jazri Receives Harold F. Tipton Lifetime Achievement Award

KUALA LUMPUR, July 29 (Bernama) -- CyberSecurity Malaysia Thursday announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Lt. Col. Husin bin Jazri (retired) has been honoured with the 2010 Harold F. Tipton Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his distinguished information security career.

The award was given by the (ISC)2 , the not-for-profit global leader in educating and certifying information security professionals throughout their careers, with over 70,000 certified members worldwide (www.isc2.org).

The Harold F. Tipton Lifetime Achievement Award honourees are those that have demonstrated sustained excellence throughout their entire information systems security career.

Husin Jazri is the second Asian to have been honoured by this award after Dr. Jae Woo Lee, from South Korea who received it in 2007.

The awards was presented at the opening of SecureAsia@Singapore Conference & Exhibition held at Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre on 26 July 2010.
