CyberSecurity Malaysia has urged local ICT developers to certify their products under a common criteria via the Malaysia Common Criteria Evaluation and Certification Scheme, MyCC.

Its Acting CEO said, the accreditation would ensure the products comply with globally-accepted standards and assurance requirements, to access international markets.

He said this during a media briefing on the upcoming Cyber Security Malaysia Awards, Conference and Exhibition which will be held on November 6th and 7th.

More than 300 people are expected to participate in the event, which aims to increase the awareness of mandatory compliance of information-security standards, and to nurture a strong culture of cyber security awareness, especially among ICT users.
