CSM-ACE 2012 Anugerah, Persidangan & Pameran Keselamatan ICT Yang Terunggul Di Malaysia
(KUALA LUMPUR) - CyberSecurity Malaysia, pusat kepakaran keselamatan siber negara yang juga merupakan sebuah agensi di bawah Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (MOSTI) hari ini menganjurkan Anugerah, Persidangan dan Pameran Keselamatan Siber Malaysia (CSM-ACE 2012) dengan tema 'Risiko & Pematuhan Keselamatan Maklumat bagi Transformasi Ekonomi '. Acara terunggul negara dalam bidang keselamatan ICT ini diadakan dari 6hb hingga 7hb November 2012, di hotel Double Tree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur. CSM-ACE 2012 diadakan sempena Forum Inovasi Sedunia Kuala Lumpur atau World Innovation Forum Kuala Lumpur (WIFKL) 2012.

Malaysia’s Premier ICT Security Awards, Conference & Exhibition (CSM-ACE 2012) Launched
(KUALA LUMPUR) - CyberSecurity Malaysia, the national cyber security specialist agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) today organised the Cyber Security Malaysia Awards, Conference and Exhibition (CSM-ACE) 2012 with the theme ‘CyberSecurity Risk & Compliance for Economic Transformation’. The premier ICT security event in the country was held from 6th to 7th November 2012, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur and was held in conjunction with the World Innovation Forum Kuala Lumpur or WIFKL 2012 in short.

CyberSecurity Malaysia today announced the appointment of Zahri bin Hj. Yunos as its Acting Chief Executive Officer replacing Lt. Col. Prof. Dato' Husin bin Jazri (Retired) whose contract of service ended on July 31, 2012.

The Government Recognizes Contributions By CyberSecurity Malaysia
(KUALA LUMPUR) - The growth of ICT industry in Malaysia has contributed to the rapid development of the country. People and businesses are inter-connected to each other, where ICT has become part of everyone's life. However with the increase of ICT usage, we are also exposed to various types of ICT security threats such as malware (virus) attacks, hacking, intrusion, defacement, harassment and many other cyber security incidents. However, it does not mean we should reject the development of the technology.

CyberSecurity Malaysia Assists Internet Users To Remove Malware From Their Computers
(KUALA LUMPUR) - In November 2011, CyberSecurity received reports regarding the propagation of a malware called DNSChanger. Since then, CyberSecurity Malaysia had notified approximately 1,000 - 1,500 Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and network owners in Malaysia that their computers have been infected by DNSChanger malware.

OIC-CERT Cyber Crisis Coordination Addresses Targeted Cyber Attacks
(KUALA LUMPUR) - The Islamic Cooperation - Computer Emergency Response Teams (OIC-CERT) has successfully completed the first cyber drill among the members yesterday, Tuesday, 22 February 2012. With the theme "Targeted Attacks and Cyber Crisis Coordination", the OIC-CERT Drill 2012 aimed to assess the response capability of Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRT) from respective OIC-CERT teams on mitigate targeted cyber attacks.

Terapan Nilai Serta Etika Berinternet Secara Positif Melalui 'Safer Internet Day 2012'
(IPOH, Perak) - Pada tahun ini, sekali lagi sambutan 'Safer Internet Day' dianjurkan oleh CyberSecurity Malaysia yang merupakan salah sebuah agensi di Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (MOSTI). Sambutan tahunan program keselamatan siber dan kesejahteraan internet ini mula diperkenalkan oleh CyberSecurity Malaysia pada tahun 2009 dan pada kali ini, ia merupakan sambutan ke-tiga yang diadakan buat kali pertama di luar Kuala Lumpur, iaitu di Bandaraya Ipoh, Perak Darul Ridzuan.

APCERT Embarks On Global Coordination To Mitigate Advance Persistent Threats
(KUALA LUMPUR) - The Asia Pacific Computer Emergency Response Team (APCERT) today has successfully completed its annual drill to test the response capability of leading Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRT) from Asia Pacific economies. For the first time, APCERT included the participation of the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation – Computer Emergency Response Team (OIC-CERT) in the annual drill, following a Memorandum of Understanding on collaboration signed in 2011.
