CyberSecurity Malaysia (Company Registration No:726630-U)(“CSM” or “we” or “us”) is a Government Agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI).
This Privacy Policy explains how we respect your right and protect the privacy of your personal data entrusted to us in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) 2010.
Collection of personal data
CSM do not capture data to identify you individually when you only browse this website. CSM do not collect and process your personal data, except the data you provide to us voluntarily through e-mail and/or online form(s), which shall be deemed consented.

CSM do not process and use your personal data provided by you for any purpose other than the purpose it was obtained. However, your data, after making it anonymous, may be used for research and statistical purposes to improve our services and to make the content of this website more user friendly.
CSM shall treat all your personal data ‘strictly confidential’ and do not use it for commercial purpose. CSM shall not retain the personal data provided by you for a period longer than necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose. Once the purpose of collection of your personal data is served, we shall destroy permanently the data entrusted to us in a way which cannot be recovered.

Protection of your personal data entrusted to us receives highest attention. To safeguard your personal data, we shall take all reasonable effort or steps to secure all electronic database and transmission of the personal data with appropriate security technologies so that such data can be protected from any loss, misuse, modification, unauthorized, or accidental access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction and falsification.
Withdrawal of consent
You have the right to withdraw your consent for the processing, use and/or disclosure of your personal data entrusted to us at any time after consent has been granted by you to us.
Use of cookies and technical information
Our website does not use cookies, except temporary "session" cookies which assist a visitor’s web browser to track the pages already visited. Visitors can fully use the content of this website even after the temporary cookies are disabled from the web browser.
