Forensic on Internet Application Training

  Training on Forensic on Internet Application, organised by CyberSecurity Malaysia aimed to expose forensic officers from Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), College University Islam Sultan Azlan Shah and KPerak INC Corporation to forensic inspection and analysis based on unique cases. Officers involved in the training were exposed with in-depth knowledge in digital forensic.
 
Regional ICT Conference

  This Regional ICT Conference at Kinta Riverfront Hotel & Suites Ipoh, Perak was jointly organised by National ICT Association (PIKOM) and CyberSecurity Malaysia was aimed to create awareness on the importance of cyber security for businesses as well as to promote Malaysia Trustmark service by CyberSecurity Malaysia.

E-commerce is the latest business trend that is increasingly adopted by entrepreneurs. They are now competing to place their business and promote their services and products online through e-commerce to ensure continuity and strengthen their respective businesses. Various types of products and services are offered via e-commerce including government transactions because it is faster and saves cost.

In the rapid technological advancement, E-commerce is not an exception from cyber threats. Therefore, it is important for both public and private sectors to ensure their websites are audited against cyber threats by certified organizations.

Recognizing the importance of e-commerce, CyberSecurity Malaysia introduces Malaysia Trustmark service to catalyse e-commerce businesses and increase customer confidence to carry out online transactions and subsequently reduce the risk of online fraud. This service provides certification for e-commerce websites that undergoes security assurance evaluation process.

Three main topics were presented during this conference:

Speaker 1: Mr. Eric Wong, Consular and President, Northern Region, PIKOM, presented on Cloud Computing
Speaker 2: Mdm Hasnida bt Zainuddin, Cyber Security Malaysia presented on Malaysia Trustmark for Private Sector (MTPS)
Speaker 3: Mr. Anwer Mohamed bin Mohamed Yusof, CyberSecurity Malaysia presented on CSM-ACE 2013 Program.
 
Digital Forensic Training for Inland Revenue Board (IRB)
  25 – 28 February 2013
  Training for Inland Revenue Board (IRB) organised by CyberSecurity Malaysia aimed as a knowledge sharing session in the areas of digital forensic and current technology. 10 officers from IRB participated in this training session.
