Information Security Management System (ISMS) MS ISO/IEC 27001:2007 Implementation Course and MS ISO/IEC 27001:2007 Internal Audit

Information Security Management System (ISMS) MS ISO/IEC 27001:2007 Implementation and MS ISO/IEC 27001:2007 Internal Auditor course which was organised by National Security Council (MKN) in collaboration with CyberSecurity Malaysia implemented a series of programs under the initiative Development of Capability and Capacity for Enforcement for CNII agencies. This program was designed to train CNII Agencies on ISMS implementation and internal audit. In total 40 participants attended this course from the following agencies listed below.

1. Lembaga Pelabuhan Kuantan 8. Jabatan Laut Malaysia
2. Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia 9. Puspakom Sdn. Bhd
3. Lembaga Pelabuhan Bintulu 10. Kementerian Pengangkutan
4. Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) 11. Lembaga Pelabuhan Johor
5. NAHRIM - National Hydraulic Research Institute of Malaysia (Institut Penyelidikan Hidraulik Kebangsaan) 12. Malaysian Institure of Road Safety Research
6. Lembaga Pelabuhan Kelang 13. Perbadanan Aset Keretapi
7. Suruhanjaya Pelabuhan Pulau Pinang 14. Lembaga Pelabuhan Kuantan

Implementation of ISMS amongst CNII sectors will provide guidance to CNII organizations to acquire cyber security levels that conforms to international standards. This will further enhance the readiness of CNII organization in protecting their services and critical information from cyber threats.

 
Information Security Management System Implementation Audit Workshop (ISMS).
  14 - 18 January 2013
  A workshop on ISMS Implementation Audit was organised by CyberSecurity Malaysia, National Security Council (MKN) and MAMPU to audit selected agencies on preparation of detailed documentation on ISMS implementation. 6 agencies including Royal Malaysian Police, Ministry of Home Affairs, National Antidrug Agency participated in this workshop.

This workshop was held to ensure implementation of ISMS certification among CNII sectors are carried out seamlessly and streamlined to ensure CNII organisations receive ISMS certification within stipulated time period. ISMS certification enables protection for Critical National Information Infrastructure to be strengthened and improved in order to assure Nation’s development and social well-being.
 
Course on Critical Infrastructure Security
  30 – 31 January 2013
  A course on Critical Infrastructure Security was organised by CyberSecurity Malaysia and conducted by EC-Council Academy as one of the initiatives under SRI 2011 – Mandatory Compliance/Strategic Engagement to create competitive and innovative environment to contribute and support Nation’s development and achieve high income economy as proposed by Performance Management and Implementation Unit (PEMANDU). 26 participants consists of leaders of CNII sectors attended this course.
