Industry 5.0 Online Webinar

 

On 10 July 2020, CyberSecurity Malaysia participated in Industry 5.0 Online Webinar through the Google Meet application.

The online webinar which was organised by Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering discussed the policy framework of Industry 5.0 in the context of implementation and direction of Industry 5.0.

Ts. Dr. Solahuddin Shamsuddin, Chief Technology Officer, represented CyberSecurity Malaysia and delivered a presentation entitled "Cyber Threats in Emerging Technologies - CyberSecurity Malaysia's Perspective".

CyberSecurity Malaysia participation in the online webinar has successfully elaborated a broad cybersecurity view to the students of the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology on Industry 5.0.

National Cyber Security Awareness Module Pilot Workshop (MKKSN) To Main Coaches (JU), Kelantan, Perak And Perlis

 

CyberSecurity Malaysia in collaboration with the Education Resources and Technology Division (BSTP), Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) has organized the National Cyber Security Awareness Module (MKKSN) Pilot Workshop from 13 until 24 July 2020 to the Head Coaches (JU). The Head Coaches consist of teachers from three states namely Kelantan, Perak and Perlis.

This workshop focuses on JU to enable them to study and evaluate the content as well as identify improvements on technical aspect of MKKSN. The workshop is to ensure the smoothness and readiness of the MKKSN platform to be used during the pilot implementation to the students.

Workshops at these three states involved a total of 106 teachers from 106 schools as follows: -

  • 14 & 15 July 2020 – Kota Bharu (Kelantan & Terengganu)
  • 15 & 16 July 2020 – Taiping (Perak & Penang)
  • 21 & 22 July 2020 – Kuala Perlis (Perlis & Kedah)

From the workshop, CyberSecurity Malaysia managed to refine the module contents, resolved technical problems as well as increase the level of cyber security awareness among students and school teachers throughout Malaysia.
