We meet again in the third edition of CyberNEWS for year 2022.

In third quarter 2022, CyberSecurity Malaysia participated in several events. Among the significant ones are “Jelajah Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia” (JAKM) at Perak, Selangor, Kelantan, and Perlis and “RIUH” at Melaka and Kelantan. The activities such as CyberQuest, CyberSpontan and exhibitions conducted at these events aim to foster public awareness on the importance of cyber security.

CyberSecurity Malaysia also signed several memorandums of understanding with various organizations, such as the Malaysian Broadcasting Department for the Project Charter of Pilot Organization Program for the Development of Policies, Procedures, and Certification ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS and ISO/IEC 27701 PIMS 2022–2023 as well as MX Global Sdn Bhd for its initiative to enhance cryptocurrencies and digital asset exchanges (DAXes) technologies.

CyberSecurity Malaysia also participated in a series of trainings and courses with the Judicial and Legal Training Institute (ILKAP), the National Anti-Financial Crime Center (NFCC), and the Royal Malaysian Police in the field of digital forensics.

Internationally, CyberSecurity Malaysia participated in the "4th Cybersecurity Innovation Summit 2022," organised by the Agence Nationale de la Sécurité Informatique en Tunisie (ANSI) in the Republic of Tunisia.

In addition, CyberSecurity Malaysia also presented a Special Industry Award worth RM5,000 under the Global ACE Certification program during the 10th Politeknik Mersing Convocation Ceremony at Dewan Permata Marjan, Mersing Polytechnic, Johor as a token of appreciation to outstanding students

2022 is a memorable year as CyberSecurity Malaysia celebrate its Silver Jubilee. Several activities were held to commemorate the 25th anniversary, that are Majlis Doa Selamat, Kesyukuran dan Tahlil, Forum "Warga Cemerlang, CyberSecurity Malaysia Terbilang” and a Gala Dinner.

CyberSecurity Malaysia strive to further sustain cyber security initiatives to ensure nation's cyber security sovereignty remain secure.
