1.0 Introduction
Recently, Google has released the September 2025 Android Security Bulletin, addressing a large set of vulnerabilities including two exploited vulnerabilities.
2.0 Impact
These vulnerabilities could allow remote code execution, denial of service, and local privilege escalation. The execution of these flaws may enable attackers to fully compromise devices, cause system instability, or escalate privileges, with some already being actively exploited in the wild.
3.0 Affected Systems
- Android versions prior to 15 & 16
4.0 Recommendations
- Update Immediately: Ensure devices are updated to Android security patch level 2025-09-05 or later.
- Patch Management: Prioritize rollout of September 2025 updates across all corporate-owned devices.
- Vulnerability Monitoring: Track devices for CVE-2025-38352 and CVE-2025-48543 exploitation attempts.
