MA-1299.032025: MyCERT Advisory - Security Updates – Google Chrome Zero-Day Vulnerability


1.0 Introduction
Recently, Google has released emergency security updates for chrome to address a high-severity vulnerability (CVE-2025-2783) which is currently being actively exploited in the wild. 

2.0 Impact
A successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows attackers to bypass Chrome’s sandbox protection, potentially leading to remote code execution when combined with a secondary exploit.

3.0 Affected Products
CVE-2025-2783 (High):  Incorrect handle provided in unspecified circumstances in Mojo on Windows.

4.0 Recommendations
CyberSecurity Malaysia encourages users and administrators to review  Google Chrome releases  for more information and apply the necessary updates.
