MA-1265.022025: MyCERT Advisory - Critical Vulnerability in PHP


1.0 Introduction
Recently, the PHP development team has released urgent security updates to address a critical vulnerability in PHP.

2.0 Impact
This vulnerability could be exploited to inject malicious code, potentially leading to complete control of affected systems.

3.0 Affected Products

  • PHP versions 8.0.x before 8.0.27
  • PHP versions 8.1.x before 8.1.15
  • PHP versions 8.2.x before 8.2.2

4.0 Recommendation
CyberSecurity Malaysia encourages users and administrators to upgrade to PHP versions 8.0.27, 8.1.15 or 8.2.2 (or later) which has properly fixed for the mentioned vulnerabilities above.
