1.0 Introduction
Recently, PostgresSQL has release a security update to address a high severity vulnerability tracked as
CVE-2024-10979.
2.0 Impact
This vulnerability allows attacker to change sensitive environment variables like PATH. An attacker could potentially execute arbitrary code by altering runtime paths and extract confidential system information.
