MA-1174.102024: MyCERT Advisory - Security Updates-Mozilla


1.0 Introduction
Recently, Mozilla has released security updates to address a high-severity vulnerability in the Firefox browser.

2.0 Impact
This vulnerability, identified as CVE-2024-9936, could potentially allow an attacker to execute malicious code on user’s system.

3.0 Affected Products

  • Firefox versions prior to 131.0.3
