1.0 Introduction
Recently, Apache has released security updates to address two significant vulnerabilities, CVE-2025-55668 & CVE-2025-48989 which impacted multiple supported versions of its open-source application server.

2.0 Impact
Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities enable session fixation attacks or denial-of-service (DoS) via the MadeYouReset (HTTP/2) technique.

CVE-2025-55668 – Session Fixation via Rewrite Valve
- Apache Tomcat 11.0.0-M1 to 11.0.7
- Apache Tomcat 10.1.0-M1 to 10.1.41
- Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.105
CVE-2025-48989 – Denial-of-Service via MadeYouReset HTTP/2 Technique
- Apache Tomcat 11.0.0-M1 to 11.0.9
- Apache Tomcat 10.1.0-M1 to 10.1.43
- Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.107
