WFH - Online Meeting Platform Security Demystified, YouTube Live

 

On 5 May 2020, CyberSecurity Malaysia organized an online forum entitled "WFH: Online Meeting Platform Security Demystified" through YouTube Live application.

This forum is a medium to discuss security of online meeting applications such as Zoom, WebEx, GoToMeeting, Slack and Microsoft Teams.

Lee Hwee Hsiung, Head of Cyber Security Professional Development Department represented CyberSecurity Malaysia as a moderator with Clement Arul, representative from Kaapagam Technologies Sdn Bhd.

This online forum successfully disseminated awareness on the use of online meeting platform as well as introduced CyberSecurity Malaysia training programmes.

Online Forum: “Makcik Kiah Goes Online...Kad Pak Salleh Pulak Decline” - YouTube Live

 

On 15 May 2020, CyberSecurity Malaysia organized an online forum entitled "Bicara Siber: Makcik Kiah Goes Online ... Kad Pak Salleh Pulak Decline" through Youtube Live application.

This online forum highlighted methods of safe online purchasing and its procedures as well as the implementation of online transactions through various digital purchasing platforms.

Jazannul Azriq Aripin Senior Executive, Department of Outreach and Corporate Communications represented CyberSecurity Malaysia with other representatives from University of Technology Petronas (UTP) and AEON Seri Manjung.

Through this online forum, CyberSecurity Malaysia successfully proven the effectiveness of social media latform for CyberSAFE campaigns.

“Cyber Security Awareness For All Users, Microsoft Team

 

On 5 May 2020, CyberSecurity Malaysia organized an online training program entitled "Cyber Security Awareness For All Users" through Microsoft Team application.

This program is jointly organized by CyberSecurity Malaysia together with Kaapagam Technologies Sdn Bhd. It aims to share knowledge and motivate participants to shift their teaching methods behaviour using safe cyber technology. 24 participants from various organizations participated in this training.

Lee Hwee Hsiung, Head of the Department of Cyber Security Professional Development, represented CyberSecurity Malaysia with a representative from Kaapagam Technologies Sdn Bhd.

CyberSecurity Malaysia successfully utilize the social media platforms during the MCO to conduct online training.

Virtual Hand Over Ceremony: CyberSAFE Corporate Social Responsibility Program, GoTo Meeting

 

On 16 April 2020, CyberSecurity Malaysia with Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) and AEON Seri Manjung organised an annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, "CyberSAFE" corporate social responsibility- a handover ceremony, online, through Go To Meeting application.

Dato ' Ts. Dr Haji Amirudin Abdul Wahab, Chief Executive Officer, Lt Col Mustaffa Ahmad (Retired), Senior Vice President, Outreach & Capacity Building Division, represented CyberSecurity Malaysia with other representatives from Bait Al Amin, Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) and AEON Sri Manjung. 45 children from Bait Al-Amin participated in this ceremony.

CyberSecurity Malaysia continue to disseminate cyber security knowledge to the youth as well as nurture awareness on positive use of the Internet.
