15TH ANNUAL TECHNICAL CONFERENCE FOR GLOBAL CSIRT, CYBERJAYA

On 9 December 2020, CyberSecurity Malaysia participated in the 15th Annual Technical Conference for the Global Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) organised by the National CSIRT (NatCSIRT), virtually.

This conference attended by representatives from the accredited national CSIRTs, is a platform to identify CSIRT National issues, equipment and methods.

Farah binti Ramlee, Malaysia Computer Emergency Respond Team (MyCERT) Analyst, represented CyberSecurity Malaysia and delivered a presentation on “COVID-19: A Malaysian Case Study during the Movement Control Order (MCO)”.

In this conference, CyberSecurity Malaysia highlighted the steps taken by Malaysia to address cyber threats concerning COVID-19 and at the same time raised Malaysia's name internationally.

GLOBAL ACE CERTIFICATION BOARD OF GOVERNANCE MEETING 1/2020, CYBERJAYA

On 22 December 2020, CyberSecurity Malaysia hosted the Global ACE Certification Board of Governance Meeting to oversee operations, uphold quality, ensure continuous development, sustainability and improvement of the Scheme.

The meeting was attended by Committee Members of the Governing Body and representatives from 14 organisations involved for discussions.

Ts. Lee Hwee Hsiung, Head of the Department of Cyber Security Professional Development cum the Global ACE Certification Manager presented the latest implementation and achievements of Global ACE Certification.

From this meeting, Global ACE Certification can be expanded and upgraded from the national level to the international level with the cooperation and support of various parties involved.
