Visit By Chairman Of Malaysian Communications And Multimedia Commission To CyberSecurity Malaysia

 

On 9 January 2020, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) Chairman, YBrs. Tuan Al-Ishsal Ishak and delegation visited CyberSecurity Malaysia.

The visit aimed to introduce CyberSecurity Malaysia role and function in development and implementation of digital security activities in Malaysia. YABhg. General Tan Sri Dato's Seri Mohd Azumi Bin Mohamed (Retired) Chairman of Board of Directors, CyberSecurity Malaysia hosted the delegates.

YBhg. Dato's Ts Dr Haji Dr Amirudin bin Abdul Wahab, Chief Executive Officer, CyberSecurity Malaysia briefed the delegates and led them to the laboratories.

Visit By Science & Technology Research Institute For Defence (STRIDE) To CyberSecurity Malaysia

 

On 9 January 2020, CyberSecurity Malaysia welcomed a visit from Science & Technology Research Institute for Defence (STRIDE).

This visit is one STRIDE’s initiatives to identify its priority role and direction in developing cybersecurity expertise to avoid redundancy in the industry.

Mohd Shamir Bin Hashim, Senior Vice President of International and Government Engagement Division, hosted and led the discussion with STRIDE.

CyberSecurity Malaysia introduced its products and services to further cooperate with STRIDE.

CTO Tech Summit And Pursuing Business Meeting On The Development Of Bangladesh Center Of Excellence (COE), Dhaka, Bangladesh

 

On 17 to 21 January 2020, CyberSecurity Malaysia invited to the CTO Tech Summit and Pursuing Business Meeting on The Development of Bangladesh Center of Excellence (COE) in Dhaka, Bangladesh organised by Forum CTO Bangladesh and Bangladesh Ministry of Information Communication & Technology.

This is a platform for knowledge and experience sharing on cybersecurity in Bangladesh landscape.

Muhamad Izwadee Hamzah, Manager of CyberSecurity Industry Engagement and Collaboration Department represented CyberSecurity Malaysia and delivered a presentation entitled "Networks Emerging & Trends Security".

In this conference, CyberSecurity Malaysia was exposed to international publicity.

Visit By Parliament Of Malaysia To CyberSecurity Malaysia

 

On 21 January 2020, YB Tan Sri Dato's Mohamad Ariff bin Md. Yusof, Dewan Rakyat Speaker and delegates from the Parliament visited CyberSecurity Malaysia.

The purpose of this visit is to introduce CyberSecurity Malaysia role and function to establish cooperation between both parties.

YABhg. General Tan Sri Dato's Seri Panglima Mohd Azumi Bin Mohamed (Retired), Chairman of Board of Directors, CyberSecurity Malaysia welcomed the delegates, introduced CyberSecurity Malaysia’s services and led the delegates to Computer Emergency Response Team (MyCERT) Security Operation Centre and Digital Forensic laboratory.

CyberSecurity Malaysia promoted its products and services through this visit to establish bilateral cooperation with the Parliament.
