CyberSAFE Security Awareness Talk (CSAT), Perbadanan Menteri Besar Kelantan (PMBK), Kota Bharu, Kelantan

 

On March 4, 2020, CyberSecurity Malaysia delivered a cybersecurity awareness talk (CSAT) at the Kelantan Menteri Besar Corporation (PMBK), Kota Bharu, Kelantan.

The program is organised by the Information Management Division of the Local Government Division to expose PMBK staff on cybersecurity and information in preparation for ISMS implementation.

Jazannul Azriq Bin Aripin, Senior Executive of Outreach and Corporate Communications represents CyberSecurity Malaysia and has delivered lectures entitled “Cyber Security and Information: The Role of Internet Users” and “Cybercrime”.

Participation in the event is a tribute to CyberSecurity Malaysia in providing insight and expertise in the field of Information and Cyber Security.

CyberSAFE Security Awareness Talk (CSAT), Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), Bachok, Kelantan

 

On March 12, 2020, CyberSecurity Malaysia held a Cyber Security Awareness Talk (CSAT) in conjunction with the Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) Integrity Strengthening Program in Bachok, Kelantan.

The program organised by the Integrity Unit, Vice-Chancellor's Office, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan was held to provide exposure to UMK administrative, academic staff, administrative staff and department heads around Bachok district including PDRM, Fire and Civil Defense Department on cybersecurity and information especially usage Social Media, False News and related threats.

Lt Kol Mustaffa bin Ahmad (Retired), Senior Vice President, Outreach and Capacity Development represented CyberSecurity Malaysia where he delivered a talk entitled "Watch Out for Everyone: Internet & Social Media".

Participation in the event is a tribute to CyberSecurity Malaysia in providing insight and expertise in the field of Information and Cyber Security.

CamMuka 2.0 Technical And Strategic Workshop, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Sabah

 

From March 16 to 17, 2020, CyberSecurity Malaysia in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) organised a Technical and Strategic Cam Workshop 2.0 located at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Sabah.

The workshop was held to discuss technologies developed by UMS and will be used by the Digital Forensic Department to upgrade the Cameras system. It is also a continuation of the 2019 project with UMS.

Nazri bin Ahmad Zamani, Nur Afifah bin Mohd Saupi and Muhammad Zuhairi bin Abdullah from the Digital Forensic department represented CyberSecurity Malaysia at the workshop.

Through this workshop, CyberSecurity Malaysia has been able to upgrade its existing Cameras system to enhance its capabilities in forensic investigations that require the latest biometric technology.
