CYBERSECURITY MALAYSIA JOB FAIR

 

2 - 3 April 2021

On 2nd and 3rd April 2021, CyberSecurity Malaysia organised a career fair at Dewan Menara Cyber Axis, Cyberjaya.

It aims to provide a platform for job search among the public who are affected due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Over 16 cybersecurity companies participated and provided over 1,000 job openings in the field of cybersecurity.

This career fair successfully connected employers with qualified and potential individuals to further develop Malaysia’s cyber security industry. About 1,400 applicants participated in this two days event.

WEBINAR “EMPOWERING YOUR MINDSET WITH CYBER ETHICS” SEMPENA GIRL IN ICT (GICT) 2021

On 24th April 2021, CyberSecurity Malaysia organised Cyber Ethics Webinar entitled "Empowering Your Mindset with Cyber Ethics" on CyberSecurity Malaysia, YouTube Live.

This webinar seeks to educate Internet users, particularly women, to foster positive cyber environment and develop a secure and peaceful cyber ecosystem.

Several panellists, including professionals from the domains of women activists, education, mental health, entrepreneurship, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) took part in the celebration of International Girls in ICT Day 2021.

This webinar was able to raise awareness on the significance of preserving security in cyberspace, as well as promote the practise of cyber ethics among digital citizens, particularly women in the ICT sector.

PROGRAM CYBERSAFE BERSAMA MEDIA

 

30 April 2021

On 30th April 2021, CyberSecurity Malaysia organised Program CyberSAFE Bersama Media to honour Malaysian media.

This is an initiative under the CyberSAFE (Cyber Security Awareness For Everyone) Program, which aims to share updated cyber security information as well as recent activities hosted by CyberSecurity Malaysia for the media to include in their reporting for general public’s knowledge.

CyberSecurity Malaysia Chairman of the Board of Directors, , General Tan Sri Dato' Seri Panglima Mohd Azumi Bin Mohamed (Retired), stated that collaborating with the media is crucial to promote various initiatives and efforts to further expand cyber security in Malaysia.

In this event, CyberSecurity Malaysia also expressed gratitude towards the Malaysian media for their ongoing effort to disseminate cyber security concerns, educate and raise public awareness on the significance of cyber security.
