Message from CEO

Assalamualaikum WBT and Salam Sejahtera.

Once again, we meet in the second quarter of 2021 for CyberNEWS publication.

As we all know, our country is still at risk of COVID-19 pandemic. Adjusting to these new standards may not only protect ourselves and our family from viral infection, yet enhance our self-awareness and sensitivity towards personal hygiene.

Throughout the second quarter of 2021, CyberSecurity Malaysia participated actively in various cyber security awareness programs and action plans to educate different parties on highly sophisticated cyber threats and assaults that occur daily.

In April 2021, CyberSecurity Malaysia organized Hari Kerjaya Malaysia 2021 following strict standard operating procedures (SOPs). This career fair aims to provide an employment platform for individuals impacted by Covid-19 pandemic.

Today, the influence of women on social media and the Internet can be seen through various successful achievements. In conjunction with the celebration of 'International Girls in ICT Day’, CyberSecurity Malaysia organized a Cyber Ethics webinar entitled "Empowering Your Mindset with Cyber Ethics" through its Youtube Live to expose internet users, particularly women, in establishing a solid cybersecurity environment.

CyberSecurity Malaysia is committed to enhance the quality of cyber security in the country. The organization represented Malaysia in Common Criteria Recognition Arrangement (CCRA) 2021 Meeting, online, organized by the Common Criteria Development Board (CCDB) and the Common Criteria Executive Subcommittee (CCES).

CyberSecurity Malaysia’s relationship with other foreign countries exhibit Malaysia’s credibility globally. This is also an initiative to gain knowledge from other developed countries as a reference to further develop our system.

As a cybersecurity technical agency, CyberSecurity Malaysia is committed to deliver finest infrastructure and services, as well as diversify activities to increase cyber security awareness to accomplish people's well-being in the future. Malaysia’s growth and defense will benefit from the establishment of a safe cyber environment.
