CYBER SECURITY AWARENESS PROGRAM FOR ENTREPRENUERS

 

On 14 to 15 July 2021, CyberSecurity Malaysia organised Cyber Security Awareness Program for Entrepreneurs through ZOOM.

This program aimed to provide exposure and understanding to MARA entrepreneurs on cyber security landscape in Malaysia. 27 entrepreneurs from Selangor, Perak and Penang participated in this program.

Roshdi bin Hj. Ahmad, Senior Vice President of the Corporate Strategy & Industrial Relations Division officiated this two -day program.

Among the speakers involved in this program are:

Throughout this program, CyberSecurity Malaysia has successfully attracted entrepreneurs to venture into the field of cyber security, mainly Data Recovery through the MyCSC Entrepreneurship Development Program (MyCSC EDP) and was given the opportunity to create awareness among entrepreneurs to face cyber threats in business operations.

“CYBER SECURITY READINESS” ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION WITH SOPHOS MALAYSIA

 

On 29 July 2021, CyberSecurity Malaysia in collaboration with Sophos Malaysia organised a Roundtable Discussion Session through ZOOM.

This program is an initiative of Cyber Security Collaboration (CCP) program by CyberSecurity Malaysia to collaborate with industry partners and identify potential areas to address cyber security issues.

Mohamed Anwer Yusoff, Head of the Department of Industrial Relations and Cyber Security Cooperation and Wong Joon Hoong, Country Manager, Sophos Computer Security became moderators at the discussion entitled "Cyber Security Readiness" which was attended by 30 local industry partners.

Throughout this program, CyberSecurity Malaysia and the industry gained knowledge on current cyber security issues, new products and services as well as local technology development to provide opportunities for industry partners to collaborate for the development of cyber security programs.
