NATIONAL ICT SECURITY DISCOURSE (NICTSeD) 2021 - VIRTUAL DISCOURSE, MENARA CYBER AXIS, CYBERJAYA

On 6 to 29 October 2021, the National ICT Security Discourse Competition (NICTSeD) 2021 - CyberSAFETM Challenge Trophy (Virtual Discourse) was held via CyberSecurity Malaysia YouTube LIVE platform, which involved three stages which is the octo final, quarter final and semi final.

The eighth (8) edition of NICTSeD 2021 was organised online following the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to encouraging critical and creative thinking on ICT security issues including Internet and social media, the competition was organised to identify methods to overcome challenges and risks while surfing the Internet and indirectly ensure school children and teachers are knowledgeable Internet users.

75 schools throughout Malaysia participated in the competition this year. 27 schools qualified to compete in the quarterfinals, and 9 schools advanced to the semi -finals.

Three schools made it to the finals to be conducted on December 7, 2021.

  1. Sultan Abu Bakar National Secondary School, Kuantan Pahang
  2. Alor Akar National Secondary School, Kuantan, Pahang; and
  3. Tunku Kurshiah College, Negeri Sembilan

Congratulations to all NICTSeD 2021 participants as well as congratulations to the three schools qualified for the finals of NICTSeD 2021.
