KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 8 (Bernama) -- A two-week training programme, to be held in conjunction with the Cyber Security Malaysia Awards, Conference and Exhibition 2014 (CSM-ACE2014), is expected to produce an additional 1,500 knowledgeable workers who are capable of defending their organisations from cyber attacks and cyber crimes.

In a statement Monday, Cybersecurity Malaysia, said some training will be held in Ipoh and the rest here beginning Oct 28-Nov 12, 2014.

"The programme aims at transforming Perak from a 'Tin Mines State' into a knowledge state by implementing five knowledge initiatives (K-Government, K-Economy, K-Infrastructure, K-Society and K-Worker).
