CyberSecurity Malaysia, sebuah agensi di bawah kawalselia Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (MOSTI) telah dikurniakan Anugerah Penghargaan Khas untuk program Corporate Social Responsibility [CSR] oleh Jawatankuasa Kerjasama Belia ASEAN dan Suruhanjaya Belia Nasional Filipina sempena sambutan Hari Belia ASEAN ke-16 yang diadakan di Bandaraya Manila, Filipina pada 19 Disember 2010. Anugerah penghargaan ini diberikan tersebut dalam pelbagai program CSR.

CyberSecurity Malaysia in collaboration with Pusat Sains Negara - both the agencies are under the purview of Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) - had organized CyberSAFE: Cyber Discovery Camp 2010. The camp which was held from 19 - 21 December 2010 at Pusat Sains Negara, Bukit Kiara Kuala Lumpur, was the inaugural Cyber Discovery Camp initiated by CyberSecurity Malaysia and Pusat Sains Negara.

05 August 2010Cyber Security Exercise Gives a Thorough Examination of the National Cyber Crisis Management Plan
The National Security Council and CyberSecurity Malaysia - an agency under the purview of Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) - yesterday joined hands to coordinate and conduct the country's third annual Cyber Crisis Exercise, codenamed X-MAYA 3, a simulated and coordinated exercise to assess the cyber security emergency readiness of Malaysia's Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII) to cope against cyber attacks.

18 January 2010Critical Vulnerability involving Microsoft Internet ExplorerInternet users were greeted with the first critical vulnerability involving Microsoft Internet Explorer browser last week. The vulnerability, if successfully exploited allows an attacker to execute commands on the victim's computer. In its advisory released on the 15th of January, CyberSecurity Malaysia warned users on how to apply a workaround solution if they needed to use Internet Explorer 8 or earlier versions.
